This Privacy Policy describes how Golf Tee Time Alerts (“we,” “us,” “the Service”) collects, uses, and protects information about users (“you”) of https://golf.isaacmarks.com.

The Service is operated by Isaac Marks as a private, invite-only application. It is not commercially marketed and not publicly available without an invitation.

Information We Collect

We collect the following information directly from you:

• Email address — used to authenticate you via passwordless magic link.
• Display name — used to personalize the application.
• Phone number (in E.164 format) — used to send SMS tee time alerts when you opt in.
• Handicap (optional) — used to personalize alert filtering, if provided.
• Notification preferences — your choices about which channels (SMS, email) to use for alerts.
• Alert subscription criteria — the courses, dates, times, and group sizes you choose to be alerted about.
• Notification history — a log of when alerts were sent to you.
• Booking action logs — when you click a deep link in an alert, we log the click (course, time, your user agent string) for the purpose of debugging and improving alert relevance.

We do not collect financial, health, biometric, location, or precise advertising-related data.

How We Use Your Information

Your information is used solely to:

• Authenticate you and prevent unauthorized access
• Send tee time alerts via SMS or email when matching tee times become available
• Generate aggregate, non-identifying statistics for the application’s operator to monitor system health
• Respond to support requests

We do not use your information for marketing, advertising, profiling, or sale to any third party. We do not share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Service Providers (Data Processors)

We share necessary information with the following service providers, each of whom is contractually bound to use your data only to provide their service:

• WorkOS — authentication (email)
• Twilio — SMS delivery (phone number, message contents)
• Resend — email delivery (email address, message contents)
• Google Cloud Platform / BigQuery — data storage (all collected data, encrypted at rest)
• Vercel — application hosting (incidental access to data passing through the application)
• Notion — course registry only; no user data is sent to Notion

We do not share your information with any other third party. We do not sell your information.

Your Rights

You may at any time:

• Update your profile — edit your display name, phone, handicap, or notification preferences from the /profile page.
• Disable notifications — pause or delete any alert subscription, or revoke SMS consent.
• Reply STOP to any SMS to unsubscribe from SMS alerts.
• Delete your account — contact us using the address below; we will delete your account and all associated data within 30 days.

Data Retention

• User profile data — retained while your account is active; deleted within 30 days of account deletion.
• Notification history — retained for 90 days, then deleted.
• Booking action logs — retained for 90 days, then deleted.
• Encrypted backups — may persist up to 35 days after deletion.

Security

All data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored encrypted at rest in Google Cloud BigQuery. Access to production systems is restricted to the operator. We follow industry-standard security practices, but no system is perfectly secure; you provide your information at your own risk.

Children

The Service is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 18. If we become aware that a child under 18 has provided information, we will delete it promptly.

Changes

We will post material changes to this Policy at this URL with a new “Last updated” date. Significant changes will be communicated by email to active users.
